The Taming of The Shrew at The Globe (2016)
In 2016 Kathy Rose was cast as Katherine (Kate), the title role, in Shakespeare's TheTaming of the Shrew at The Globe Theatre in London. In the production, directed by Caroline Byrne and part of new artistic director Emma Rice's Wonder Season, Kathy Rose both opened and closed the show in song and had the chance to compose some of the music.
Leave (2015)
Kathy Rose plays Ruth, a young woman whose life has taken a turn for the worse, in the Michael Hayes-directed RTE/Filmbase short film LEAVE opposite Moe Dunford which premiered at the 2015 Galway Film Fleadh.
Upper Middle Mandy (2014)
Amanda Moriarty has been cut off by her parents after a number of vain attempts at self-expression. Her dream of finding her 'thing' is folly to them and enough is enough. Paul, a life-coach, is hired to lick her into shape but the plan backfires as Amanda's true voice starts to emerge.
